About TPS
Tuscaloosa Psychological Services (TPS) was founded in 2022 to provide psychological assessment to the Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, and central Alabama. The founders recognized that there were limited local options available and the options that were available often had long waits. The initial goal of the organization is to increase access to psychological assessment and reduce wait times for our community.
Through individually tailored assessments and interventions, we help individuals attain diagnostic clarity, a greater understanding of self, and the means to effectively cope with life’s problems and to live a meaningful life.
Services
Tuscaloosa Psychological Services provides comprehensive psychological assessments. These can include: ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, psychodiagnostic, and bariatric evaluations. We also offer individual therapy and counseling to adults above the age of 19.
