What therapy will look like
We offer a brief 15-minute phone consultation to answer your questions and to understand your clinical needs. During the first session, Dr. Michaels conducts a thorough clinical interview. Decisions on treatment goals, treatment options, and the pace of therapy are made together, in a collaborative manner. Each therapy session is 50 minutes long and can range in focus depending on the treatment goals identified.

"What's really important to me is that therapy and mental health not be seen as mysteries. I believe in having an ongoing conversation about how therapy works, what we're doing in therapy, and why we're doing it."
